November 2010 Favorites!

Hello!

You might all be like ''I thought there was a month between september and november!?" Well, not favorite wise :) I had really no favorites to share in october, so I didn't bother to show you the same stuff again. But in november, things have changed :) I still love everything from the september faves, but for the sake of keeping things interesting, let's show some new stuff :

Yes, these are all the goodies I'll talk about in this post :) ( plus, in this picture, you can see a part of my makeup storage, ain't that nice? )

First, we'll talk about eyes:
If we start from the back, we have :
L'Oréal Telescopic Clean Definition Mascara in 925 Blackest Black : This month being the last one of the semester, I didn't have that much time to put on make up. I went for the natural eye , which was often gel liner (still Buxom Lash Liner in Leatherette by the way!) and some lenghtening mascara, which happened to be this one. I truely love the way it makes my lashes look! You can see a picture in this post.

Naked Cosmetics Shock Effect eye shadow stack : So this came in handy for those days when I had the time to play with colors! I love the pigmentation on those shadows, they are simply amazing! I really recommend to put a base before applying them to make them stay longer, make them look brighter and tone down the fall outs. I personnally usually apply them wet (you dip your brush in it and then spray water on the brush) because it makes them THAT more gorgeous. I got these at IMATS by the way, and I'll surely do a review on them in the future :)

Eye Kandy Liquid Sugar and sprinkles : Here you can see only one color of  "sprinkles" (they are cosmetic grade awesome glitters with a fancy name) which is Shock Tart, but I've been enjoying all of them! Even the one that I haven't used yet, they are so pretty just to look at! So far, I've only worn the three brightest colors I own (Shock Tart is the blue, Sour Berry is a green and Sour Grape is a purple) but I plan on using these crazy this holiday season! They just do liner so well! I bought a kit (a Kandy Baq) and it came with 6 glitters, the liquid sugar and a fine tip line brush. I use the liner brush with the Liquid Sugar and seriously, awesomeness glitteryness on my eyes. I plan on doing a post on those also, and going crazy at IMATS next time I go!

Urban Dacay Eye Shadow Primer Potion Professional Size : I don't have much to say here. It's my favorite eye primer! It never let me down ( or make my shadow crease). I was out of it in october and I and to relay on bases, which are not the same. I'm just glad that I bought it in the pro size since a) there's no weird packaging and b) there's more product in it.

MARK Metalliner in Bronze Edge : If it wasn't black liner or glitter, it was this baby. Metalliners are like liquid colored foil in liner form! They look so good on, and they last all day! ( when I say "they" it's also because I have the two other colors they offer ( silver and blue ) and that I love them too, but the bronze one was higher in my heart this past month). They came with an easy-to-use brush tip, which is a plus.

MAC Sea & Sky mineralize eye shadow duo : I LOVE the darker side of this! It's smooth, pigmented and just so deep as a color. I love to use it as a crease color or a liner on my lower lash line with a neutral look. I would totally buy this if MAC was selling a whole pan of this one :)

NYX Single Shadow in ES01 Black : Can you believe that before I got this at IMATS i did not have a matte black eye shadow? That statement talk on her own.

Wet n Wild Color Icon Eye Shadow Palette in 249 Vanity : If I were to show a picture of the dents in each and every single one of the shadows in there, you would see that I use the crap out of this bad boy. This has been my neutral eye to go lately! I don't feel guilty to take it around with me, since if I lose it or one of them break I can simply go to Wal Mart and buy another one for like 5 bucks or less. Wet n Wild Color Icon shadows are just so pigmented that I recommend them 100%!

Now, for face :
N.Y.C. Matte Bronzer in 720C Sunny : I just found myself using bronzer more often this month, and this one is a really good one! It's all matte, pigmented enough, and doesn't look orange. Plus, it's super super cheap!

MAC 181 SE Kabuki Brush : It shouldn't be in this picture, but oh well! Even tho it's poky on my face, it's the best brush I have to but face powder on, which like bronzer, I've been doing a lot lately.

Maybelline Dream Matte Powder in Fair (Light 0-1): It's just an overall really good powder! It's smooth and silky, and also lighter than my MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in Medium, which is now a little to dark for me... Oh well, joy of winter!

Now onto lips:
Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Soft Nude : I've found myself using it a lot more lately! It's a nude color, as the name says, but it's not a dead color, which is a huge plus. It's creamy, last a good amount of time on the lips and as no smell what so ever ( I'm really sensitive on lipstick scents.. For exemple, I can't stand Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick because of the way they stink. )

EOS Lipbalm in Honeysuckle Honeydew : Do I need to justify myself? Even if I'm not in total love with the scent, I love the way it feels, the way it looks and the way people look at you can you take it out to apply it. I also love who it remind me of, which is Alicia from FunnyFace Beauty! She's the sweetie that sent it to me :)

Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain + Balm in Flame : So there was a red lipstick in my first favorite post, and now there's a red lip stain! I am truely in love with all my heart with flamboyant red lips since september, but I was always afraid to wear it since it's an easy one to smudge all over, or it can wear off wierd, goes on chlotes, etc. But one time, at the drugstore I saw this and I said to myself "Lip stain? In red? WHY NOT!! " and I bought it. I adore how easy it is to apply and to not worry of where it'll go. The down side of this is that it's very drying ( but it comes with a balm ) and it seems to ran out fast. No biggy, I already found a new lip stain lover <3

NYX Lipliner pencils in 835 Pinky and 817 Red Hot : I really wanted lipliner for the longeat time, but in my city they were really expensive for what I knew I could pay. I waited for IMATS and got those two ( should have got more! ) and they're just so easy to use! Line your lips, fill it in, top it with gloss and good to go for a long time without reapplying! Long term love relationship is starting here!

Onto random makeup stuff:
NYX Fabulous Lashes & Glue in EL108 Breeze: These are the first pair of eyelashes that I could wear and look decent, they were so easy to apply! I like the way they make my lashes look, longer and a little fuller, and the fact that I can wear them with my glasses on too! They come with glue, but I wouldn't bother using it.. I prefer using mine! I wore them 4 or 5 times already, and they're still going strong by the way!

Crown Brushes Italian Badger 119 Deluxe Crease Brush: For some reason I've been using this one over my Sigma E35 ( MAC 217 dupe ) to apply color to my crease. It just does it well for me! And for the price (around 5$) I should have got one more. It's a very soft and usefull brush! ( plus it doesn't shed)

Crown C123 Mini Chisel Brush : I wanted one like this for a while to work on the lower lash line and in the inner corner. It has done what I wanted it to! And like the other crown brush, it doesn't shed!

Eye Kandy Liner brush : This should have been with the Eye Kandy stuff in the Eye picture, but oh well, you can see it here!

Duo Adhesive : Before, I used the Ardell Waterproof Lash Grip Eyelash Adhesive to glue stuff to my face but to be serious, it smells SO bad! Like, worst than liquid latex! And it didn't dry as fast as the duo one. I also cost me more money for the Ardell one, which I regret now. I paid more than 5$ for the Ardell, which come with 7g of product, and I paid staight up 5 bucks for 14g of duo. I'm super happy with it! Next up, Revlon lash glue, or Duo Dark!

Now, a new fave goodie:
Britney Spear Midnight Fantasy Eau de Parfum : Almost since I started watching youtube videos (about... 3 years ago!) I wanted this. Everyone was saying that it's a sweet scent with a slight touch of blueberry and I was all over that ( I ADORE blueberry, blueberry flavored stuff, blueberry scented stuff, etc ). I was looking for it everytime I went to a place that sell perfume but it was either not there or 60$, and for a money watching 17 years old teenager looking for a job, I wasn't wellling to pay that.. But one day, at Shoppers Drug Mart, it was there, in all it's beauty, standing on a shelf with a majestic price tag. 20$. Oh lord. I was so exited and happy and full of joy! I got it and wear it EVERY day now. And I'm serious here. EVERYday. :)

Now for the random love of the month:
Shay Carl and the Shaytards! I will never get enough of that family, they are just so cute and funny! I just enjoy their daily vlog so so much, and I'm thankfull for Shay taking his time to do them :) I hope that those will never stop! Find that happy familly here : CLICK ME :D

YES! That is all lovely readers :) Those were my favorite things so far these last weeks! I really hope you enjoyed it!

By the way * IMPORTANT STUFF HERE* I'll be having 12 giveaways soon. My next post should be about that, but if you want to be able to join, you can already have the first step done by following my blog! I promise it'll be awesome! :)

Thanks for reading and commenting as always

Can't wait to see your Naked Cosmetics review. I haven't used my eye kandy glitter yet but agree it would be perfect for the holidays! ( I think my sister stole them and took them to her house).
Love Revlon's soft nude. One of the only nudes I can wear. Yay for eos balms. I have been using my a lot lately because my lips have been so dry. Now I will think of you when I wear mine.
